About Felix
Felix’s personality:
Felix is one gorgeous big boy! He is a sweetie pie that will constantly wind himself around your legs, waiting for you to give him the attention he is craving. He may be a senior boy, but this kitty cat isn’t ready for the retirement home just yet!
Felix’s ideal forever home:
Felix would love to live out the rest of his days surrounded by a person or people who will shower him with love and be able to take care of any medical needs that arise from a cat living in its senior years. Ideally it would be best if he is adopted with his brother Nipper as he has spent the majority of his life with his company. While he is not a shy or timid cat he would prefer a quieter household. His coat will need to be maintained so you will need to be committed to a grooming schedule.
Felix’s story:
Felix arrived at Sweet Pea with his brother Nipper. They came into care because their human mother had sadly passed away. Felix may be in his twilight years, but there is more life for this boy to live.
More about Felix:
Felix is a beautiful 15 year old boy with a black and white long haired coat. When he first arrived he was unsettled from the change, but he soon settled in and loves it when the volunteers spend time with him. He loves a brush and a groom, and he will wind himself all around you searching for more affection. One of the volunteers has described him as ‘Divine’ and that is a perfect description for this boy. If this awesome cat is the one for you, please fill in the adoption questionnaire. Please consider adopting Nipper as these boys should continue to be a pair. The adoption fee for Felix is $150.
Medical notes
Felix’s medical history:
Felix is a very big boy! While some of this is due to him being a large-size cat, he is also a bit over-weight. We have been working on getting his weight down, and while he has lost some he has more yet to lose. His potential adopter will need to be strict in maintaining a healthy diet where he will continue to lose that extra padding!
He is otherwise healthy for his age, is desexed, vaccinated and up-to-date with his flea tick and worming treatments.
