Hi! I may initially be shy, but once I'm comfortable with you I am an incredibly smoochy, snuggly and loving boy. I'm a very happy, friendly, sweet, affectionate, loving and special boy. I love humans of all ages. I am a huge snuggler. I enjoy laying next to you in bed and on the couch and will make biscuits on you or on a blanket. I also enjoy scratches and kisses. However if your busy, I'm happy to potter around on my own too, having some time in my outdoor enclosure or a snooze in the sun on the windowsill. I have lived in foster care with other cats/kittens, dogs and humans of various ages and get along well with everyone. I'm ready when you are! 🥰
Peter arrived at Rescue Me with a badly broken front leg, which led to a severe bacterial infection in his chest. He saw a specialist, we hospitalised him several times and we treated him with everything we possibly could. Initially they thought he was palliative because his lungs were only working at 1/4 of their capacity. However as he grew, so did his lungs. He is now a happy and healthy young man who defied all the odds. Making him a very special boy. As he gets older he may develop some arthritis in his front leg requiring regular arthritis injections.
Contact my carers at rescuemewhiskersandpaws@gmail.com with my name "Peter" and they will send you a Cat Adoption Questionnaire to complete and return to them." -Foster cat Peter 😺

Adoption details
All of our animals are placed into foster care in a family type environment, which allows them to be exposed to various environmental factors such as cats, dogs, children, visitors, noises etc.
All of our animals have a health assessment. They are desexed, microchipped, receive their 1st and 2nd F4 vaccination or C5 vaccination and have parasite treatment prior to going to their new homes. Once ready for adoption we look to find our fosters the most suitable home environment depending on their personalities and needs.
