About Cohen
Cohen is a fairly typical 6 month old kelpie pup - full of life and love, and eager to share this with his humans.
He enjoys the outdoor life, running with friends at the park and swimming at the beach. He would love a home with another playful, active dog companion. Cohen will do best in a home familiar with herding breeds, that can provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he requires. He will be an ideal candidate for someone looking for a dog to do agility, herding, or any other dog sport with. An on-lead walk each day will not be enough for this bundle of energy!
Cohen is social and friendly with both people and dogs. He has been living with dogs of various ages, sizes, and sexes without any issues and enjoys playing with them and with toys.
Cohen can be a bit shy at first, but warms up once he gets to trust you, being very affectionate in his down time. He does well with boundaries established with gentle yet firm consistency, and wants to please you.
He is house trained and lets himself in and out using the doggy door, but can also hold on overnight until you let him out in the morning. He is reliable off lead in dog-friendly settings, checking in regularly by choice, and has good recall (rewarded with treats and/or praise & pats). He is currently working on lead walking and "sit", and is a quick learner. He travels well in the car.
Cohen is a sweet, young, happy, active pup who is guaranteed to bring joy to his forever home.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
