About Vader
MEET VADER!
Vader is approximately 7 months old, all black short haired, he is fully vet worked and ready for his forever home, Vader would like to find a home with his foster sister Kayley as they have spent the last 7 months together.
His name may be Vader, but he is as sweet as candy! Vader is such a beautiful loving little sweetheart we absolutely adore him. Vader is timid with strangers to start with so a slow quiet introduction is a must, once he knows you mean no harm he will be all over you happily smooching and head butting.
Vader has been in foster care with other cats and is happy to live with friendly, passive young cats but would ideally like to go with Kayley.
Vader has no experience with dogs and is quiet scared of little/loud kids so he would like a place to hide from them please. Vader was born in foster care after his mother was saved from a death row pound, he has grown up being handled and knows nothing but love and kindness. We are looking for a home where Vader will be loved and cared for, for the rest of his life. Vader is super playful so lots of stimulating toys and play time with his human is a must, he would not be suitable as an only cat with someone who works.
Vader is INDOOR ONLY for the rest of his life so please only apply for him if this is suitable for you. Vader would NOT be suitable outdoors as loud noises and strange people terrify him and he would run.

Vader is a growing young kitten and as such he requires a premium quality dry kitten food such as royal canin, hills science diet, advance etc

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
