About Kayley
MEET KAYLEY!
Kayley is approximately 7 months old. She is a ragdoll cross, fully vet worked and looking for her forever home ideally with her brother Vader, If not with Vader then Kayley must go to a home with another friendly, passive & playful cat friend to bond with or someone who is home full time. She would not do well on her own in a home with an owner who works full time.
Kayley was trapped as a stray kitten living in a cat colony at only 6 weeks old, she was extremely ill when found with the flu and ended up having a nose scope procedure where they found a large nasal polyp! Since the polyp removal she has recovered and blossomed into the most beautiful, loving little girl and has no more health problems or concerns.
Kayley has grown up in foster care with her brother Vader and little kids including babies, she has no experience with dogs so a slow, safe introduction is a must.
She is a really loving, affectionate little girl and absolutely adores her humans, She would settle into her new home fairly easily as long as she had a safe, quiet room in her new home for her to settle into.
Kayley LOVES to play and cause mischief (dont adopt Kayley if you have lots of indoor plants that you love!) so lots of stimulating toys and play time with her humans is a must! She would love to be able to sleep on the bed with her humans and have a cuddle on your lap while you watch TV. She is just a really lovely, sweet and playful young kitten.
We are looking for a home where she is wanted for her personality rather than her looks, as she is quite stunning! Please check out the videos of Kayley with her brother Vader.
-Kayley is INDOOR ONLY for life and her new home must be able to accomodate this, please let us know this is suitable for you when applying.
-Kayley would LOVE to find a home with her brother Vader, they have spent the last 7 months together and would love to stay together.
-If you aren't adopting Kayley with Vader then you must have another friendly passive young cat for her to bond and play with or be home full time.
Medical notes
Kayley is a growing kitten and as such she requires a premium quality dry food such as royal canin, hills science diet, advance, leaps and bounds etc
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
