About Macy
Please meet Miss Macy a 4 year old Australian Kelpie. Unfortunately her family had to move and just couldn’t take her with them.
One word to describe Macy - ACTIVE!!
Being a working breed and a young girl, Macy is very active. She is always on the go, and after a morning walk, she is still ready to go again and again.
Macy has met a few dogs here and gets walked with other dogs each morning, though she still seems to be a bit unsure how to interact with them properly. She will bark at them if she can’t get to them and vocalises at them when she does. This sometimes makes the other dogs uncomfortable with her, so if you have a canine companion at home already it is imperative that they come for a meet and greet with you to ensure your dog can handle her boisterousness.
Macy is VERY interested in cats and will bark and try to chase them so a home without cats or other small animals would be best so she doesn’t stress the resident littlies out.
A large yard where she can run around and play would be perfect for Macy due to her breed and active nature. Macy also LOVES water! She will splash around in her water bowl if she doesn’t have a splash pool to play in.
Macy loves being around people and is always happy to meet new people and have a cuddle. This girl cuddles everyone she can get her paws on! Sometimes she can get distracted and its hard to get her attention again, but once she has had a chance to explore and sniff she’ll bring her attention back to you. She doesn’t mind being left on her own, just ensure she has plenty of things to keep her distracted when you go out and leave her on her own.
Macy's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Macy is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
