About Crystal
Time has come for Crystal to start the search for her dedicated home that will continue the work PARH has commenced.
Crystal is deaf and is learning hand signals for direction from her foster carers.
Crystal is an energetic, curious, crazy pup. .. and yes she is deaf and white which increases her risk of skin cancers. Date of Birth 18/7/2021
Crystal is super smart and loves to learn hand signals. She is very aware of her surroundings and keeps an eye on her family.
Crystal is very affectionate; she loves to cuddle , snuggle and gives wet kisses. She has no idea about social distancing or personal space.
Crystal loves being inside on the couch with her family, but her heart is outside running and jumping and having new adventures with her family. She loves water, hoses, sprinkles, rivers and lakes, Crystal is learning to swim.
Crystal loves the other dogs that she has met. She adores her foster brother (Theo), and even tho he is bigger than her, she bosses him around with her Sassy confidence. Crystal enjoys tug o war and keepings off, she plays to win!
Crystal can Sit, and stay at doors and gates...but not for food....this girl has a healthy appetite and is food motivated.
Crystal knows the hand signal for down and good girl. She is crate trained and house trained. Crystal follows Theo's lead and walks very well on a harness, however more work is required when walking on her own (without Theo's influance).
Crystal still has a lot to learn about the world and manners. She needs a dedicated and patient Person/family to commit to showing her how to be a polite family member.
Crystal is not suitable for small children, as she is very active and still jumps up when she is excited. Crystal has had limited exposure to cats and she was super excited by their quick movements. She would need a confident cat to put her in her place if she was to be adopted into a home with an existing cat.
Crystal goes to her new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $800.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
