About Bearš»
Bear is a little man with lots of love to give, his special needs require a special family, so please continue reading till the end.
Bear has some medical conditions, but you wouldnāt be able to tell from his friendly and playful personality and his handsome looks.
Bear is a very loving, playful and intelligent little man. He has great manners and doesnāt jump on tables. He gives the best cuddles and he loves fluffy blankets.
Bear gets along very well with other cats and whenever dogs have visited he has been curious, so with the right introduction he would likely enjoy the company of a friendly dog.
Bear was rescued from the euthanasia list by GAKAH at 7 weeks old due to his medical issues. He has been diagnosed with Mega Colon and Ani Artresia. His recovery has been remarkable and he recently had his final procedure and is doing better each day.
Bear will likely be on oral medication for the rest of his life to help with his bowel movement. He has his oral medication mornings and evenings.
Bear is also on a special diet of boiled chicken. When he eats anything else he becomes unwell.
Bear would need to be 100% indoors only so his diet can be controlled.
Bear goes through symptom free days, but on some days he can have accidents controlling his bowels. Due to this Bear does not have access to carpeted rooms and this is something Bearās future family should consider.
We hope Bear finds his forever family who will be able to give him the love and care he so deserves.
He truely is a special boy who has captured his foster carers hearts.
This cat is available for adoption or foster.
We recommend all cats to be kept as indoor-only.
