Meet Santa he is an 8yo Doberman who came to us on Christmas day - hence his name. He loves people but most of all he loves to play ball. At times it’s more “keeping’s off” than “fetch” though and don’t be fooled by Santa’s age he’ll play until you’re tired.

Santa needs to be an only “child”, animal or human, in his forever home to enjoy his retirement years with his adult humans. He sits, is polite at meal time, preferring to graze throughout the day, loves his walks but would benefit with some ongoing lead training. He really enjoys a trip in the car and will be in and ready to go before you are!

He is not a fan of the hot weather and has some anxiety issues which require some ongoing medication that vets expect he can be weened off in in the future. Not knowing his history we can never know the causes, although his illegally cropped ears, tail and desexing performed without the skill of a veterinarian do offer us some idea.

Still Santa loves people especially anyone offering pats, cuddles or play and just needs someone to love and care for him. He will return your love and much, much more. He really is the sweetest boy who is impossible not to fall in love with.
