About Mouse
Howdy Mouse 👋
Mouse is a diluted tortie
The genetics of diluted tortoiseshell cats are slightly more complex than the genetics of tortoiseshell cats. The melanophilin gene is responsible for the ability to produce a black or orange color, but sometimes it mutates through a recessive gene, and in this case, the color changes and becomes blurred.
So, orange turns yellow, and black turns blue. For kittens to be born with this mutation, both parents must carry this trait.
So Mouse is a bit of a special girl. Not only that but she’s very affectionate with humans and also other cats. She’s looking for a home either with her best friend Tigress or a home with other cats she can make new friends with.
Mouse is special to us at Urban Kittens.
Preference will be given to potential adoptees with indoor only or indoor/outdoor enclosure or safe yard applications. We are happy to discuss this further with you and talk about ways to make your outdoor areas safe for this new bundle of love.
Medical notes
Tigress and Mouse are happy and healthy kittens who will be adopted out microchipped, vaccinated and desexee
