About Charlie ~ 4yr Old Greyhound(On Trial 13/3/22)
Charlie or Cha Cha as we like to call her, is an extremely lovely & sweet 4 yr old greyhound.
She can be a little shy, a little reserved when you first meet her. However once she gets comfortable, her loveable, quirky, weirdo side comes bouncing through.
Charlie is extremely snugglie and loves a good pat & cuddle session.
Her secret wish is to be allowed to sleep on the bed with her human, something she currently isn't allowed to do.
She will throughout the day have a snooze on the human bed, any bed really but at night she sleeps on a dog bed on the bedroom floor.
Currently she is not a morning dog. She much prefers to eat her brekky and go back to bed. However if what's on offer is exciting enough she could be persuaded to get up.
Cha Cha is a true foodie. Peanut butter is currently her favourite.
She specialises in canine enrichment and enjoys the challenges of a food puzzle as she is quite a clever girl. She also adores toys and will peruse through the toy box looking for that perfect toy that fits that moment.
Charlie loves getting out & about, whether its a trip in the car or a lazy walk around the block, she is easy to walk and a great companion.
Charlie functions better if she has a good routine. She is also toilet trained, though she does not like going out in the rain. However taking her for a walk after meals will prevent any accidents indoors.
Charlie is an extremely easy, fun & loveable girl to have around. I guarantee you will fall head over heels in love with her.
Charlies dream home would be with a retired or part-time older, single or couple. Even though she enjoys her adventures, she also enjoys some relaxing down time.
She would need to be welcomed inside at all times and treated as a member of the family.
Charlie would be ok as an only dog or with one other dog of similar size and energy level.
No permanent resident children under 16. She has shown no interest in children while in foster care.
A home with no cats or pocket pets.
Someone who is willing to learn and give her lots of canine enrichment. She really enjoys it and you will enjoy watching her show her cleverness.
And if she is really lucky a home that would grant her that secret wish.
For more information on Charlie please contact her foster carer Misty on their email mistyem@tpg.com.au Charlie is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW and is NOT available for adoption interstate.
Her adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Charlie please fill out the adoption application form here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
