About Gordon
Hi there my name is Gordon. I arrived into BVAR care after I was saved from a regional NSW pound. As seen often in rescue, I arrived timid, malnourished & full of worms. All I needed was a little bit of TLC and now I am in top top shape and ready to start looking for my forever family.
I’m a chill guy who just like to go with the flow of things. I get along great with other dogs and would absolutely love a new home with an existing dog, preferably a dog that likes to play rough with me. I get scared if another dog isn't around, so a friend is a must.
I have been around young children and I was fantastic with them. Children give the best pats after all. Remember though, I am still a baby myself and I am still learning not to jump or use my teeth too much. I currently live with cats, horses, chicken and sheep and I’m not phased by them at all.
I am great inside & out, and would love a home that will continue to allow me inside.

I am currently being treated for skin allergies, which may be an ongoing medical issue that will require regular treatment and vet checks.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
