About Cooper
Cooper is a well mannered young man. He is good with other dogs and loves human company.
He is approximately 12 months old and came into care from a rural
Pound.
His foster family has 2 elderly dogs one large one small, he’s been great reading their cue’s when they simply want to be left alone. The other household pooch is very accepting of him.
Within hours of meeting he was running and doing zoomies with his foster sister (she’s a bit of a crazy girl) but he has coped well with her too.
Coopers family will want to enjoy an active lifestyle with him, camping, adventures, big walks. He will absolutely benefit from some obedience training to help build that bond between him and his new owner.
His new home may consist with another dog and given his age and temperament he would be great with an older dog that can help him continue his calm respectful development rather than running like a crazy pooch with another young dog.
If your lifestyle sounds compatible with Cooper’s then send us an email requesting an adoption application form for Cooper.
Please note- We will not consider message overview from pet rescue as an adoption application.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1.) You see a dog you like.
2.) Fill in our online adoption form by emailing us on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
3.) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5.) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6.) A yard check will need to be conducted at your home.
7.) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. 8.) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9.) During the 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure
10.) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you are encouraged to contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog your payment will be refunded to you in full, within 5 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**. Please email us on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com to request an adoption form.
We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
