Gidget initially presented at our Shelter in dreadful condition. However, after some weeks of medical care and time in a foster home, Gidget is feeling much better, but still has a way to go before she 'looks' better as her coat will take some time to regrow. Gidget has a number of age-related health issues which may incur ongoing costs to her adoptive family. Gidget can be a little timid but once she knows you, she is super sweet. She will enjoy a short daily stroll as well as some lap time with a loved person.

We recommend Gidget for a quiet home. All interactions between dogs and children should be actively monitored.

Due to COVID19 lockdown restraints, we have revised our current adoption process which is now by application only. Please follow this link; https://www.rspca-act.org.au/services/adoption-appointments and complete an application form for the animal you are interested in. Due to staffing and time constraints, it may not be possible to notify you if the animal has already been adopted or if your application is unsuccessful.

The adoption fee for Gidget is $99.00 which helps to cover the cost of her mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
