Our Personal Tribute To Betty White... Naming Our Latest Litter After The Golden Girls...👑👑👑👑
It is a well-known fact that Betty White was America’s sweetheart. She captivated audiences with her talent, wit, and dimpled smile for almost 80 years. Betty died just over a week ago on 31 December and she had almost reached the grand old age of 100 years (just 2.5 weeks to go). During her entire life, Betty was devoted to dogs and was an advocate for their welfare throughout her successful acting career. Even in her final weeks Betty was thinking about the well being of dogs so "The Betty White Challenge" was launched to celebrate her 100th birthday. (See photo!)
Since yet another litter of pups arrived on our doorstep two days ago and, since they just happened to be four girls, we thought it was fitting that we named them after the four Golden Girls in honour of Betty White. Betty played a starring role as Rose in the popular TV sitcom "The Golden Girls" aired in the 1970's along with her friends - Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia.
So come and meet Rose, Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia who are the dearest little fluffy white and black babies. We know they have a Bull Arab mum but the identity of their dad is a question mark. They are gentle and cuddly little girls and are sure to have the sweet nature common to their breed so they are the perfect namesakes for Betty White (plus they are mainly white - except for Dorothy who has now the most awesome speckling!
