About Rose ~ American Bull Dog X Puppy(On Trial 21.2.22)
If you are looking for a big, sweet girl to join your family than look no further, Rose is a 12-week-old American Bull dog x Boxer from a litter of 7 this girl has grown in size and confidence since coming into foster care with her brother Axel.
Rose is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle on the lounge after spending his day running in the back yard with her animal friends, getting better day by day with toilet training being a puppy she still needs ongoing support and understanding in this area as she loves to be able to be inside with the humans as well as loving laying in the sun or rain, she is smart, confident and would be a perfect addition to any family looking for a big girl.
Rose along with her brother loves the company of other dogs and has been exposed to 2 x older Beagles who have been teaching them how to behave and a younger working dog at her foster home- Rose is a little more independent than her brother , so best fit for her would be a family with a Medium to large dog for company who wouldn't mind some puppy energy and a family with time to continue her training which is a little more advanced than her brother.
Rose has also been very fond of the cat with zero issues with aggression and will jump onto the cat tower to play, she also loves to hang with the chickens but at times can get a little too excited so pocket pets would need to be supervised in her company while he is still learning.
She also loves being with the foster families 6- and 8-year-old children being pushed in prams, cuddles, and tug a war with toys again she will grow to be a large dog and will require a family who can continue with her training and have a secure yard for her to run in.
Rose also has been on car trips to beach where she has loved digging in the sand and starting to walk on a leash.
We always recommend puppy- training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Rose has learnt to sit and be calm to receive his food, very food orientated for training and will require a family to continue with this, give her love and understanding and she will be the best mate anyone could want.
Rose currently sleeps in the spare bathroom with her brother on their favourite crochet blanket as they are too young to be outside at night- Rose is usually awake at 630/7 in the morning wanting to go outside to use the toilet and have her breakfast so she can become loud with puppy cry's when she wants attention but is a little more reserved than her brother.
The bathroom has been a good option for overnight sleeping due to toilet needs overnight so Roses new family will need to find the best option where she can sleep safely and toilet train so there may be a few sleepless nights while she settles but once she does it will be smooth sailing.
As Rose is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
