About Kitsune
Mah! I'm Kitsune! That's one of the many adorable and funny sounds I’ll make once I know you! My name means tailed mythical Japanese fox (although I look nothing like one, nor do I act like one). I got the moniker because I appeared out of nowhere one day in my foster mum’s garden. You can call me Kitty for short, or if you want to give me a new name, I’m okay with that. In fact Kitty could be a good name for me because I often get mistaken for a kitten as I’m so small and cute, with super pretty markings.
I was a stray for a very long time – it’s tough and scary out there trying to fend for yourself! So forgive me, but it might just take a little time for me to feel safe and at home. The hissing thing was something I developed while out in the big wide world, but I don’t bite and I’ll be super affectionate and cuddly. Just look at my photos to see how mega cute I can be! I mean, c’mon…. Once I know I’m safe and loved, I’m all yours. I’m ready for a human who can provide plenty of gentle and positive reinforcement, and who has the patience to help me adjust. I reckon there’ll be lots of mutual affection and play time together between us.
I just loooove tummy rubs ...and head rubs…and….pats all over…..and neck scratches…and….ok, ok, I admit it, I’m a sucker for all that kind of attention! The whole shebang, just give it to me and I’ll take it any time of the day. And you wouldn’t mind if I just, y’know snuck up to you and curled up next to you and started purring really loudly would you? (Didn’t think so). I’m a pretty curious soul and can’t wait to follow you around and unload a megatonne of affection on you. I have been very good with boundaries at my foster mum’s home, all thanks to my cautious nature. I am still new to being indoors and will need plenty of encouragement with kind words and physical reassurance! Got some pesky pests? I’m your go-to girl for catching these little critters – no need to hire expensive pest control. Let me dispatch them for you!
I love chicken based meals and would appreciate a secure outdoors area, if you have the space. Lounging around in the sun in a catio sounds like my idea of cat heaven! In my younger days on the streets, I learnt how to move very silently, so even with a bell on, I can be quiet. I was very used to being outside, but I know that’s not a good thing for the other creatures of the world, so it’s better for me to learn to be a good girl inside. Will you be my new human and love me in your forever home!? I’m ready and waiting for you – please make an enquiry today!
