Meet Mako!

Mako is quite the gentleman with plenty of manners in and outside the home, he listens to commands - will happily sleeps on his bed if told to do so - even though he'd prefer to be cuddled up in his bed with you. He adores his humans and will follow them to the ends of the earth! He just wants nothing more than to be cuddled up with you on the couch.

Mako is curious but gentle with cats, Given time and slowly introduce and patience gets on with other dogs although he can be a little picky when it comes to his dog friends, he likes some dogs but others not so much. He is looking for a home without other dogs and would benefit from regular structured socialisation.

He has not been tested with kids so an adult only home, or a home with children who are in their teens or older would be best suited. Is a bit of a boof head bulldozer and will knock over little kids.

Mako’s happy place is right by your side. Wants love, gives love - he's a very loving and affectionate dog He enjoys spending time inside the home and LOVES to go on car rides. Mako can be a little shy at first but when given lots of cuddles and positive reinforcement you are sure to see his personality shine. Mako is quite the independent pooch and doesn’t mind being left alone for periods he will happily amuse himself..

Mako needs some education when it comes to walking on a lead. Despite his gentle nature he can be boisterous when out for a walk and tends to pull. He is currently being walked on a Halti and would benefit from ongoing training and owners who can handle his strength. Mako is very excitable when he sees cars and we highly recommend that he not be walked off leash.
