Hi there, the name’s Kai! My humans describe me as a sweet goofball who loves people.

I love going for walks and to the dog park, but also like doing my own thing - I’m fine to hang out by myself in the garden when I’m home alone. I make sure to come inside at night to snuggle in my bed! I like to sleep under my human’s desk during the day, it’s the perfect spot for me. I do like playing with a ball but I’m not a fan of the whole ‘fetch’ thing.. You can catch me doing zoomies in the backyard and the park when I’m in a happy mood!

I’m good on the lead and I’m used to wearing a halty, but sometimes I do forget I’m a big guy and think I’m smaller than I am. I might sing out loud to warn you about strangers I don’t know but I’m friendly once we’re introduced! My favourite time of the day is dinner time, and I’m fine with rain and storms but wind or a door banging is a bit spooky for me. I’m fully housetrained and will politely ‘woof’ at the door if I need to be let out.

I’m a social guy who gets on well with other doggos, big or small, and I’m used to staying in kennels when my human is away. I am used to being around a cat too, but I can’t resist chasing them if I get the chance. I love kids, but my humans say I’m too big and silly to be around kids under 10 in case I bop them over. My humans also have said I can be territorial over my bones and chews so please just leave me to it.

I’d love a home where I can go inside and outside, and have access to a big yard at home or plenty of walks and exercise. I would love another dog to live with but will settle on being an only dog too.
