About Dozer
Delightful Dozer is a young man on the go looking for his next adventure and fun things to do. With his outgoing nature and strength Dozer would be best suited to a home WITHOUT small children, as he is likely to accidentally knock them over.
Destructive when bored, this athletic dog has boundless energy and thrives on hard work and play. Dozer is highly intelligent but does need the right owner who is committed to take him to obedience training. This will help him to learn how to socialise with other dogs and people under controlled conditions, as well as, help him learn some tricks and strengthen the bond with his new family
A secure home, with high fences, twice daily walks and plenty of things to do will help prevent Dozer from becoming bored and destructive.
While Dozer has been in the shelter, the shelter team has been doing some training with him. He walks very well on a harness, and is sitting at appropriate times. With more training and time his manners will improve.
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
