About Chokito
*Please only apply if you have a resident dog and are prepared for a lifelong commitment to ongoing training and regular structured socialisation*
Chokito is a sassy little gal with loads of personality and energy to burn! She's incredibly cheeky and loves getting into mischief - make sure all your shoes are put away because they're her favourite things to steal! She's quite independent and is happy to spend time alone playing with her toys or exploring the garden. While she is affectionate, she's not a big fan of snuggling so if you're after a dog to spoon on the couch with she's probably not for you.
Choki is a really clever girl who enjoys puzzle toys and learning commands so basic training will be a breeze!
She can be quite timid in new environments so will require plenty of exposure training and positive reinforcement to ensure she grows up to be a happy and confident dog.
A resident dog/mentor is a must for this girl. She can be a bit of a pest towards her foster mates and is still learning to read doggy signals so a tolerant playful dog would be a good match for her.
A commitment to enrolling Chokito in obedience classes would be highly regarded.
Medical notes
Chokito was diagnosed with a Grade 1 heart murmur as a baby but this was deemed of no consequence to her health and likely to disappear as she aged.
