Rupert is a gorgeous 8 month bundle of chocolate and tan energy.  6kg

He is very affectionate to those he knows, but will bark at strangers and others until he gets to know them.  He love love loves cuddles and his favourite place is on your lap or asleep in your arms.  He is currently in foster with 4 other dachshunds and will need a home with at least one other dashie (preferably a younger one) to keep him company.  

Rupert is very energetic and loves to play with his foster siblings and needs plenty of space to run, chase and tumble.  He will need someone that is home a lot as he does, like many dashies suffers separation anxiety when left alone.   He is a bit of a chewer and as mentioned loves to bark.  

He has lived with cats and is good with them, but becomes a little noisy when they don’t play or understand his attention. His toilet training is underway – but not yet perfect.  He is good in the car, but can become a little car sick from time to time.  

He is desexed , microchipped, vaccinated, including C5 and yearly heartworm Bravecto and worming and Fully Vet checked as per our Policy.
