Bubba the Saw-Shelled turtle here. While my species is fairly common, meandering as we do along rivers and streams from Cape York Peninsula to NSW, I'm anything but! I'm a cute and placid little turtle and I'm very easy to handle. Being gentle, calm and friendly means that I'd be an ideal pet for beginners. In terms of the home I'll need, I'll require a tank that's at least 1.3metres and, as an aquatic creature - a water source, so I can swim about! That's about all you'll need for now. The rest you can chat to the Reptile Specialist about when you come in to adopt me!
