About Spud
Spud is a fantastic cat who is friendly and affectionate but is also happy with his own company and finding a good spot to relax and watch the world go by. He loves a good head rub and curl up on your lap for a snooze after a busy day watching the birds through the window. If you're looking to save money on your power bill, Spud will certainly curl up on your lap and keep you warm.
Spud is a confident cat and he takes only a short time to adjust to a new environment, when tempted with the offer of pats, food or play with his favorite toys he soon feels comfortable to explore his new surroundings and meet new friends. Spud loves his food, and is a big boy!
Spud loves human company and gets along great with other cats, he does not like dogs. He is quite the character that they whole team have fallen in love with. He is currently in foster care and hangs out all day with a Mumma cat and her two babies. He has been such a gentle boy with Mumma cat and her little kittens.
We are not sure how old Spud is, he seems young and healthy. Spud has had all his vet work completed. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated.
If you are looking for a sweet and affectionate snuggle buddy, Spud could be the one for you. If your parents or grandparents (who may not be computer savvy) are looking for a companion, Spud would be great company for an elderly person. If you'd like to meet Spud, please put in an enquiry and one of our team will contact you.
Spud is FIV+ so he must also be indoors only, or with access to a cat run/secure enclosure.
Medical notes
FIV positive cats can live very normal and full lives. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or other pets, and is only transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds.
