Jaybee has a wonderful temperament, he is super affectionate and willing to take pats from everyone he meets. He is seeking a family with plenty of time to provide daily exercise, stimulation and company as he shows signs of stress when alone and has a singing voice on him. He is seeking a quiet environment, he isn't a hustle and bustle type.

Jaybee can be quite timid at times, he is very happy to lay around most of the day as long as he can be around you and shower you with love. He is very smart, and learns quickly. He knows all basic commands (when he is listening!) and is very gentle around food. Toilet training is improving by the day, he is not housetrained completely but it is a very achievable goal.
Jaybee is strong on lead so needs a bit of work to learn nice leash manners. His forever home should be committed to ongoing training as Jaybee can be wary and frightened around dogs he does not know. He can calmly walk past a dog on the street if they keep their distance (a couple of meters away), he otherwise may get over excited and his manners aren't accepted by all. He would be happiest being a solo dog for now whilst he builds up his confidence and social skills with others.

This smoocher is great with kids but does get quite excited.
