About Bear
We are very excited to introduce you to our handsome man “Bear”, he is a fun-loving boy who is still a big pup. Bear loves pats and cuddles, daily walks and adventures, and sniffaries.
Bear is a very intelligent breed and learns quickly, he knows how to sit, drop, wait for food, and is beginning to walk well on lead. He would love to go to doggy school and learn lots of new things, he really wants to please his owner.
Bear is good with kids, not great with cats or pocket pets, and loves to play with other dogs although he can be over enthusiastic.
This boy will make an amazing family pet and loyal companion with an owner willing to put the time into training him and providing consistent boundaries, leadership, and love.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large yard
• Bear will not be alone for more than 5hrs
• You will allow Bear to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Bear will be considered. Please include your knowledge on his breeds and the name of the obedience school you will be taking him to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
