About Archie
Did you know that Archie has been best known in town for his mad fetching skills? If you like playing fetch as much as Archie does - you may be a winning team.
Next to playing fetch, he is also looking for a hiking buddy. Archie loves exploring new hiking trails and all different kinds of beaches. No adventure is too big for him. His eyes will light up if you could also squeeze a car ride into his day, he would be forever thankful.
After coming back from his adventures, this handsome boy will lay next to you and overload you with lots of slobbery kisses. His friendly temperament is great with humans of all sizes. He likes playing with the fun little ones. Once it is time for a snooze, you can find him sleeping both in- and outside.
Archie grew up with another large dog and they got along well. Unfortunately, he had an incident with a large dog when he was young and this resulted in him not doing well meeting dogs outside his home. He needs someone that can assist him in walking on the lead without reacting and gaining more confidence off lead. Food is the way to his heart and this will be very useful with his ongoing training. Archie hasn’t been tested with cats, however he is curious when he sees a cat walking on the street.
Ideally Archie would go home with an active single person, couple or family that likes the outdoors as much as he does and he can really be part of the family. Indoor/outdoor access would be great and he would be best as an only dog. Archie is so much fun, he really is a true catch!
Archie’s adoption is an assisted adoption via PetRescue's Home2Home program. You will be speaking with Archie’s owner when you enquire.
Medical notes
Archie is fit as a fiddle with no underlying medical conditions
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
