For all you rottie lovers out there: here is our gorgeous, affectionate girl Ruby.

At 6 years old, she is still a very playful, energetic dog who loves a good ball game - although sometimes forgets to bring her toys back!

She is looking for a special home, preferably with someone who has experience with this particular breed. She is a strong girl who needs ongoing positive reinforcement training to help teach her good manners.

She would probably prefer to be an only dog as she can be picky with who she chooses to be friends with, although if you have a calm and gentle male dog, she would be open to meeting them too. She can be sociable with other dogs but also gets quite over excited when she sees them. Learning some calm behaviours would be highly beneficial for her.

We recommend a home with older kids ( 16+yrs ONLY without exception) due to her size, energy & the fact that she can sometimes feel a little possessive about her toys, and is a little worried about touch on certain parts of her body.

She doesn't enjoy too much alone time & needs someone who is at home more often than not. She loves her people & will be much happier just being with you. She wil NOT be suitable for dog parks or off-leash areas.

She requires daily exercise as well as mental enrichment, a good quality diet to keep her in tip-top shape.

Ruby's adoption price is $350 which includes a full health check, desexing, vaccinations as well as up to date flea & worm treatments
