About Carter
Please meet gorgeous “Carter”.
We have been blown away with how mature this young man is. In fact, we have been blown away with everything about this boy, he has won our hearts. Carter has an amazing loving nature, he is super loyal, and super clever.
Carter is great with other dogs, good with cats, and good with kids. He LOVES water, walks, and lots of adventures. He also loves pats and cuddles and will be more than happy to snuggle up on the couch with his family.
Carter is a fast learner and already knows to sit, drop, wait for food, he is house trained, and sleeps in his crate at night. He will be great at obedience as he loves to please you and loves to learn new things.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large yard
• Carter will not be alone for more than 5hrs
• You will allow Carter to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include your knowledge on his breeds and the name of the obedience school you will be taking him to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
