About Amos ~ 1yr Old Mixed Breed
Meet adorable Amos. Amos is a 1yr old Mixed Breed boy, looking for his new beginning and forever home.
The most important thing to mention about Amos is that he absolutely loves water.
While Amos’ breed and background (he has been labelled as Mastiff, Staffy and/or Boxer x) is a mystery, this hasn’t stopped him from being an incredibly delightful dog.
Amos found himself at the pound and stayed there far too long, so is now looking for the happy family environment that he so deserves.
While Amos is still a bit puppy-like and can be stubborn at times, he is quite well-behaved, good on a lead and is a quick learner. Being super friendly and sometimes over-enthusiastic, Amos is great with other dogs and loves the occasional group walk. Cats are an unknown.
And did we mention that Amos loves water? He’s also a big softie who loves his toys. Amos’ physical prowess includes being able to jump high and enthusiastically. He doesn’t jump at people but tends to jump at doors and fences. His foster carers are working on this and the good news is that he doesn’t use this skill to escape the yard.
With his smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Amos is very low maintenance. Amos has been described as on the small side of large and has reached his full growth potential.
Amos loves humans so much, he would be happy as an only dog, given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.
If you feel you can provide this super worthy dog with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on or 0418 402 150 or email: dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Amos is currently in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Recently saved from a coastal pound by Dog Rescue Mudgee, Amos is looking for a permanent home.
Amos is microchipped, de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and his adoption fee is $350.
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to contact Dog Rescue Mudgee for an adoption questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
