About Simba
Simba is a real smoochie boy with an easy-going temperament. If he had to pick his most-favourite thing in the world, it would definitely be his humans. He will make sure you will feel loved every day of the week. He will cuddle up on your lap and snooze the day away.
Sweet Simba is a little careful when something strange or out of the ordinary happens. That being said, he can also be very brave and spend a lot of his time exploring the outdoors. He grew up in a rural area and he took his duty as mice catcher very seriously. Having Simba around will guarantee having no unwanted rodents in the house. He prefers to sleep outside at night, although he is quick to come indoors to the aircon on the very hot days.
No food is safe around Simmy, he might have a nibble of your food if you leave it out. He prefers meat & chicken, but will eat fish as well. Other than his human company, he grew up with another cat and an older and relaxed dog. He adored their company and would really like to have another furry friend. The toilet is not a problem for this clever boy, he is litter trained since he was a kitten, but will go outside if he can. You can make him happy with some simple cardboard boxes, he absolutely loves it and can chew and play with them for hours.
Ideally Simba would like to be going to a home in a rural/semi-rural environment, so he can have his outdoor adventures and come inside as he pleases. As he hasn’t had much exposure to younger kids, he would prefer to go to a home with a single person, couple or family with older kids (he’s spent a lot of time with an 11 and 14 year old). But most importantly, he just wants to give love and be loved!
Simba’s adoption is an assisted adoption via PetRescue's Home2Home program. You will be speaking withSimba’s owner when you enquire.
Medical notes
Simba is a fit healthy lad, he has been regularly given his tick, flea and heart worm tablets.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
