About Missy
Missy is a goodest girl you'll ever meet. She even got great feedback on being a star patient at the vet post surgery. Missy is a very sweet, gentle and loving dog. She still has some crazy bouncy puppy energy when you get home, or when another dog comes to visit, but is calm and well mannered in general.
She is a loyal companion and would be by your side or at your feet all day if she could. She loves kids and other dogs of all sizes, tho she's still learning her manners with other dogs, who will occasionally tell her to calm down.
Missy can sit, stay and walk on a loose lead. She loves to walk on the beach or by the lake but isn't that keen on swimming yet. Shs is timid when first meeting other dogs but eager to make friends if they are welcoming, and will hide behind you when she's scared.
She'd prefer a cuddle than to fetch or play with toys but will amuse herself when she's bored. Missy does have some separation anxiety and would best be suited to a home with another dog. Her current carer avoids destructive behaviours by leaving bones out when going well out for the day. Missy loves to chase cats but given her sweet nature, could probably learn to cohabit with some patience (on the cat's part).
Missy is an active dog and will need daily walks but is very happy to relax at your feet (or even better, on the couch with you!) the rest of the time. She is eager to please and would benefit from some more training and socialisation to build up her confidence and the bond with her new family.
