~ Meet Patch~

AKA: Patty, Sweet boy, Mr.Patch, Patchy Poo….

This poor sweet boy came to us as a stray in poor condition. Being let down by his former humans he spent his first few days with us timid and shying away, but with reassurance and encouragement we started to see his true personality shine through and boy were we lucky! We were shown the sweetest natured boy.

Patch is adorable and always eager to interact and receive attention from his humans. Mr.Patch can be a little hesitant of new people at first but with support from his handlers he is willing to trust quickly. He loves to shower those around him with all the love that he has bottled up inside. Sometimes he’ll get too excited and jump up so he can smother you with kisses. Once you’ve gained his trust he will drop to the ground for all the belly rubs he can get.

Sweet Patch does need further lead training. He just gets so excited on his walks and just wants to go! He loves going for a walk in the bush and spending time with his humans. He loves a good treat and he’s willing to listen to commands to gain those treats and praises. His love for treats will make him that much easier to train.

Other pets: Patch is happy to interact with other friendly canines, but he does require support and a slow introduction. It’s in Patch’s best interest to be the only pet of the household, as he likes to soak up all the attention for himself. Patch is not suitable to be housed with felines.

Type of household: Our sweet Patch has been through a lot so he does need some confidence building and calming when in a new environment. He needs a family that are willing to be patient and understanding with him. It would be best for him to have a household with older children due to him being an excitable boy and often jumping up for attention. It would be ideal that Patch’s new family have experience with his breed as he does need further training and support. Patch requires an environment where he can blossom and be loved for the sweet boy that he is.

Patch’s adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea & worming.
