About DJ
🚨🚨URGENT FOSTER REQUIRED - HELP GET DJ OUT OF THE POUND🚨🚨
DJ - Age/Sex: 3yo Male
Location: West Gippsland, VIC
About DJ: We don't know a lot about DJ but we do know that he is a boxer cross who is currently in the pound.
We are told that he is a very loving and cuddly young man, he is small, but that does not stop him!
He is quite boisterous, but has never had the luxury of being outside of his backyard, so he will need some training. He has never been socialised with other animals (not his fault) and needs to be the only dog. If you have children he will happy!...but because he is so jumpy older children are the way to go. We would not risk him initially with little ones incase he knocked them over.
DJ would also be suited to a family that has a large fully fenced yard (ideally somewhere rural) for him to run around and play in. He needs stimulation or he will make his own fun.. He would also do well with foster parents that have the time to put into training him to become socialised with other dogs and to learn how to be an inside dog.
If you have the time, love and patience to turn DJ into a fantastic companion, then please apply today!

Why fostering?
BRNA has the policy that all dogs need to be vet checked, microchipped, desexed and up-to-date with their vaccinations before they can be adopted. This all happens while in foster care (we pay the vet). When the vet work has been completed, the dog will be available for adoption.
Adoption process
If the dog is happy; the foster family are happy; we are happy and it’s a good match, we usually give our foster carers the first chance of adoption.
