About Pigeon
Pigeon
Pigeon has had an eventful start to life. At just three months old she has been separated from her mum, then taken in by a family of black cats, captured and taken into foster care. She also at some point got her back leg caught in a rabbit trap resulting in an emergency surgery and removal of the leg. But even with all that pigeon is the most excitable and playful kitten of the group, who enjoys attacking her siblings any chance she gets, racing around the room at full speed and getting into things she isn’t meant to. It truly helps that she is an absolutely stunning kitten being she is very cheeky and loves mischief.
Pigeon would require a home with another cat close to her age and a patient adopter willing to continue to work with her as Pigeon can be easily startled and is still deciding if she likes pats. When she's playful she'll zoom away from you as fast as her three legs can carry her (hint: it's decidedly fast!) but when she's sleepy she loves nose rubs and gentle pets. Originally pigeon was great with being handled but since her leg surgery and having to wear a cone for two weeks she is a bit more wary of people and will need a home committed to working on handling and socialisation. Pigeon loves all toys especially any that make crinkly sounds and loves sitting at the top of her cat tower where she can keep an eye on everything. She also recently has taken up chirping at birds at the window.
Pigeon is a great eater and loves using her scratch post and is fully litter trained. She would be suited to a home where she can be given the required amount of attention and one that has another young cat preferably under a year old or if older a cat that has a lot of energy to match hers. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
