About Birdie and Laddie ❣❣
Amelia Ladybird, or Birdie for short, came into rescue as a single kitten of about 6 weeks. Sadly, she was separated from her mum and the rest of her litter, as she was stuck in the branches of a bush in a parkland where she and her siblings were born. From the get go, she was a very serious little girl, with gorgeous, striking colouring. Over her time in care, she has blossomed into the most beautiful “big” little kitten. Baby Birdie LOVES being involved in everything. She has the most spectacular natural curiosity about all the things that go on in her world and always wants to be across all the haps. Birdie is well-mannered and neat, loves to collect her toys and will chirp the day away, chatting to you from the moment you come home. She will greet you with a head bop and loves to be patted, but strictly on her terms. Over time she may grow into a lap cat, yet at the moment she is fiercely independent and will say when she’s had enough, with a little squeak. When she is tired from playing with her adopted brother, Birdie will often curl up in a quiet spot, either by herself or with Laddie, sometimes even beside her human/s. Birdie’s is a fabulous bundle of joy who is bound to bring much happiness into her and Laddie’s forever home!
Laddie is a charming little boy, who like his adopted sister Birdie, came into the rescue as a single kitten. He was found all alone, in an industrial area, separated from his mum and the rest of his litter. Laddie is a sweet-natured and adventurous kitten. He is courageously brave, quick to explore and settle into any new environment he is placed in. When first introduced to Birdie in her foster home, Laddie was calm and polite, showing that he is a mature well-rounded kitten, who will grow into a gentle and respectful adult cat. Together with his adopted sister, he will play the day away, but will always seek out some love from his human/s, in between play sessions, of course. Laddie adores being petted and will often ask for more pats, before settling in for a cat nap right beside you, be it on the bed or on the couch. This delightful little boy enjoys a challenge when it comes to playing, especially if he needs to figure out a puzzle. Together with Birdie, they will need a home where there is a commitment to continuing to develop their razor-sharp minds, to keep them happy, healthy and out of trouble. You will see just how clever these two bonded kittens are when they are brought into their forever home! They will need a bigger home and someone who is around, either working from home or a couple/family. They love hanging out with their foster carer's older cat and other adult foster cats, so other pets would be a great added bonus for this dynamic duo!
