About Daisy
Daisy (Duke), is a beautiful gentle natured girl who loves affection! She has been raised with another dog and 2 young children.
Being tall and agile she loves to walk long distances and run beside the bike.
She loves mountain climbing and would need an active couple or family.
She walks well on the lead and has learnt to sit and wait to say it is okay to cross the road, and to eat her dinner. She responds well to training.
Daisy needs attention and affection! Whilst exercise is super important to this girl - so is company and being part of the couple or family. She is comfortable with water and quite often loves to frolic in the pool top step or the shallows of the ocean.
She has zero stick or ball skills, so if it's a fetcher you are after then Daisy is not your girl. She would rather play with you, or other pups! Currently Daisy lives close to the beach, so she gets a lot of beach walking.
She can be startled easily with loud noise and can be uneasy around market stall tents. She is fine to walk through but important to know she is unsure of these spaces. She hasn't spent much time doing this as a pup, more training would get her comfortable with this.
She is not much of a barker and will only communicate with you if she needs to. Definitely no barking at the Postie! She responds well to positive reinforcement training, we tend to give pats rather than treats.
She is a lovely girl, who has so much love to give - she is looking for the right couple or family who can put in the exercise time and be okay with having her around inside.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
