What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• SOCIALISATION is as important as training a puppy. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I become a social and well adjusted dog.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Exuberant & full of beans

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET SKIPPER IN PERSON.
