About Barbie ~ 4.5mo Cattle Dog X(On Trial 5/2/22)
Barbie is a confident, affectionate and intelligent 4.5mo Cattle Dog X. Barbie will grow up to be a medium sized dog. She loves her humans and loves to snuggle in your lap, give out lots of puppy kisses and be rocked like a baby in your arms. She also gets along well with her fur brother and sister and enjoys playing wrestling and tug.
Barbie is an energetic young pup and is not suitable to live in an apartment or townhouse. Her future home requires a yard with secure six foot fencing, as she is already displaying jumping skills and can be quite an adventurous little girl. She is currently untested with cats or pocket pets. Barbie’s toilet training is going very well and she has learnt to go outside when possible and rarely has accidents inside anymore. She has learnt to sit, to wait for her food and is learning stay and come commands.
Barbie is a playful young puppy who is still learning not to jump on humans, so children over 12 are recommended. She has no problem being outside during the day so would be suitable for full-time workers, provided she is welcome inside when people are home and is able to sleep inside at night. An older, well trained dog who will be able to help Barbie learn the basics of doggo life, but is energetic enough to keep up with her working breed energy, would be highly desirable as a future fur brother or sister for Barbie.
Barbie’s new family must be committed to her ongoing training. Previous experience with working breeds is highly desirable. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies need plenty of affection, socialisation, exercise, and training to ensure proper boundaries and routines are established.
As Barbie is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when she is approximately 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
For more information please contact her foster carer Jade at jade.bowdler@hotmail.com Barbie is currently in care in Cameron Park, NSW (a suburb of Newcastle NSW). She is microchipped and has been treated for fleas, ticks and worms. Barbie's adoption fee is $600. To apply to adopt Barbie, please complete the application here: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
