ABOUT
Lyra has the most gorgeous light grey tabby coat with sprinkles of pale ginger. This young girl came into care with kittens, but now they've grown she's looking for a home of her very own. Lyra loves attention, and will do enthusiastic trills and quiet calls asking you to follow her to the lounge for cuddles. Lacking a little in patience, Lyra is known to reach up on her tippy toes to rub her head or shoulders into your hand if you ignore her cues for a cuddle
While Lyra is happy to be independent or nap half the day away, She LOVES when her people come home. She’ll be waiting just inside the door and trill and reach for pats as soon as you come in, while enthusiastically leading you to the lounge where she will jump up and walk across and roll around in your lap for a few pats, then loves to just sit there purring loudly. Lyra also loves cuddles on the bed, curled up against your side or on your back.
Lyra loves a good game or toy, and has her fair share of zoomies to do each day which she loves to do with her feline friends. Lyra is great with other cats, but when not playing, she generally prefers to co-exist with them. However, Lyra has been known to give in to particularly persistent foster kittens and grooming and cuddle up for a nap with them.
She's not a big fan of the resident large dog as it can be a bit boisterous, but after settling in is happy to ignore it, and they’re usually side by side inside the front door waiting when I get home.
