Axel

Axel is a friendly and playful Labrador x Staffy (approx 20kg) with a few quirks that need a little bit of attention. In the right home he will become the perfect companion!

Axel needs:
-a pet-free home
-no kids under the age of 10
-a backyard
-someone home more often than not
-some work on his toilet training

While Axel is friendly with dogs he meets on walks, he’s best suited as the only dog in the home, and to avoid having him off leash as he often takes playtime too far and can pick fights. He walks well on lead with his head halti on, but can pull a bit hard when just on collar. He can get distressed when left alone but settles reasonably quickly. He can sometimes be fearful of strangers in the home but if you take things slow and let him interact on his own terms he warms up quickly. Axel loves his toys, especially puzzle games and treat dispensing toys. He’s a smart boy who wants to please. A little polishing will have this diamond shining!
