About Dusty
Introducing Dusty! Dusty was surrendered to the RSPCA as there were too many dogs in his previous home for him to receive the best level of care he deserves. He is a playful little dog who absolutely LOVES his toys, Dusty does suffer from separation anxiety so his ideal home will be one where his new owners are home the majority of the time. Dusty would love to be allowed indoors at his new home and included in family activities as much as possible. Dusty does enjoy his outdoors time too and it is important that his new backyard has secure fencing with no gaps underneath as he has been known to dig under the fence if feeling anxious when alone. Dusty isn't very sure of other dogs though he has shown no signs of reactivity to other dogs he has met during his time at the shelter, due to his nervous nature, he would best suit a calm home with no children under ten years of age and will greatly benefit from regular grooming in his new home.
We don't have small dog surrenders at the RSPCA often so we do expect a high volume of enquiries about Dusty, if you would like to meet Dusty we ask that you please call us on 6709 8100 during our opening hours to express your interest - please note - we will contact you to book a Meet & Greet with Dusty if your expression of interest matches Dusty's adoption requirements.
