About Jinx
MEET JINX!
Jinx is approximately 9 years young! (DOB 13.11.2012) She is fully vet worked, domestic x british short hair lady. She is all black with the beautiful big chubby british face.
Jinx adapts well to different places really quick, she has a great personality! She is still playful for an older girl so would love to have a cat tower to climb and a human to play with. When she wants a pat she backs up to you and asks! She enjoys affection, she is a quiet placid cat, she is a fit cat for 9 and you can get her to do anything with treats as she is super food motivated! Jinx would really prefer to be the only cat in the household please as she is definitely the queen of her own castle though she is okay currently living in the foster shelter with a number of other cats, she really can't be herself and does get grumpy.
She is not afraid of strangers and will welcome a pat & some attention from anyone, she would make a wonderful companion for someone who is home a lot or just needs a new little friend! Jinx would be happy to lounge around the home and relax whilst her human is at work and then spend time with you when you are home.
*Jinx is INDOOR ONLY for life, please only apply for her if this is suitable for your household. (Outdoor enclosures are fantastic but not necessary for Jinx)
*Please no other cats BUT she may be okay to live with a passive, friendly kitty that she can be the boss of.

Medical notes
Jinx is fully vet worked and in good health, as she is 9 years going on 10 years old, she requires a premium quality senior diet such as royal canin, hills science diet, advance, black hawk etc and she would benefit from some dental treats such as Greenies or dental dry food.
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
