About Squirrel
MEET SQUIRREL!
Squirrel is approximately 11 years young. He is a domestic short haired boy, fully vet worked and ready for his forever home. Squirrel is available for adoption with his sister Molly, or with another laid back older cat friend.
Squirrel is more of a shy boy, it was a few weeks before he came out to greet his foster carer but he is worth the wait! He is a stunning kitty to look at. It would be nice if he could be adopted with Molly but he would be fine with another laid back cat.
Squirrel is starting to play on his own, we see him doing zoomies in the cattery pouncing on leaves! He would love to have a human play with him daily. He is happy to have pats and some affection, he would be a wonderful addition to a quieter adult home thats looking for a warm companion, if you have the patience and time for him then Squirrel will reward you with unconditional love and affection for life.
*Squirrel is an INDOOR ONLY cat, please only apply for him if this is suitable for you
*Squirrel would prefer not to live with little kids
*When applying for Squirrel please tell us all about your home and why you think he would be suitable for you.
Medical notes
Squirrel is a senior and as such he requires a premium quality senior diet such as royal canin, hills science diet, blackhawk or advance. He prefers dry food over wet food. He is in good health and has had a recent health check

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
