About Rubble
Hi! My name is Rubble. I'm a 17-month-old cattle dog cross breed. Maybe kelpie or Husky? I'm a smooch and love to be the centre of attention.
I'm a busy boy and MUST have a home with LOTS of space for me to run and run and run. City & suburban living definitely isn't for me. I need an active person. Someone who is after a loyal best mate?
I love kids, but as I'm a strong & at times stubborn boy, that's why I'm best with older kids. I'd only suit a single dog home or a home with female dogs only on a large property. Foster mum reckons I'm true to the cattle dog nature; a stubborn fool at times and that I need an experienced cattle dog owner who is confident and can 100% commit to my ongoing training.
I'm a goofball and love older kids providing me with belly rubs. I could deal with that all day long. I'm happy-go-lucky and love to chase & wrestle with the young fur ladies here in care. I really don't like other male dogs (or cats!) cramping my style and won't hesitate to send them on their way. I'm just the kinda guy who prefers to be in the company of females. Don't hold that against me. I'm a good looking young man and it's my thing! And I am a cattle dog after all!
I am learning my basic manners with foster mum. I'm easily distracted and am working on having some down time. I am being crate trained to help me have periods of relaxation. I'm very food motivated. I can sit, and am refining my recall under distraction. I'm learning my lead manners, but will need ongoing training with this. I'm a good boy and sleep through the night in my kennel in my outside pen.
