About Panda
Shy Panda bear needs a quiet home.
Panda joined the Catters after she was found cowering in the corner of a yard as a 5 week old kitten. We don’t know where her family was or is, or what made Panda so scared that day, but what we do know is that she’s safe now and has thrived in foster care. Panda can be quite shy, so a quieter home where her personality can shine through would be best. She is the perfect girl for a family with older children that will respect her space and play gently.
The ideal home for Panda would be one that has a relaxed nature to it and isn’t a busy household. She prefers the quiet life for sure! Panda has grown up living with other kittens, cats, a medium breed puppy, and a free range rabbit and gets along with all of them. She has also been living with 5 and 8 year old children and enjoys their company when they use kitten toys and cat wands to play, but doesn’t like to be overcrowded. When Panda is curled up having a nap, the kids can slowly settle down next to her with a book or an ipad for an afternoon nap (filled with lots of purring!).

Medical notes
Medical Note: Panda was exposed to a widespread disease commonly known as Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus). She showed mild signs of illness, was treated, and recovered well. This virus is a common respiratory disease in cats and varies in severity. The virus usually attacks the respiratory tract (nasal passages and lungs), eyes, or both. Signs of illness may or may not develop again over time and veterinary treatment might be required. As usual, regular vaccinations are important to protect Panda and other cats within the same living space should be up to date with vaccination.
