About Peanut
PEANUT!!
A Mumma dog found herself abandoned in Burketown along with her four pups before Christmas.
Three of Mumma’s pups were already rehomed and we recently took the remaining pup into our care – Peanut. Peanut is currently being fostered with a loving lady, another small dog and a cat.
He recently found himself in the naughty corner... and became yet another of our emergencies in the last week when he took his puppy antics one step too far. While his carer was out shopping, he got hold of the corner of the tablecloth and pulled it off the table. That wouldn't have been so bad but there.was a box of Panadol on the table. When Kylie got home the cardboard box was shredded and there wasn't a sign of the tablets in the foil... Since they were nowhere to be found it had to be assumed that Peanut had decided to have an early lunch.
Since Panadol is dangerous for dogs, it was another rushed trip to the vet for a clean out and a day of observation where Peanut spent most of the day backed into the corner as he should be.
Fortunately for Peanut he has suffered no nasty after effects and can go on being a puppy getting into mischief. Puppies are like babies and you have to think one step ahead. They will get into anything they can reach and just about everything ends up in their mouths.
This little rascal is playful and inquisitive but he offsets that by being super affectionate so he will be a great little mate and has striking looks with his tan and white combination.
Peanuts mum, Hazel is not a very big dog herself and under medium size so we suspect Peanut will follow in her footsteps also.
