About Athena
Athena is a sweet-natured loving girl with a silky, shiny coat and gentle meow.
She is scared of loud noises and very timid when first encountering new people, but, given a fair amount of time and patience, she eventually comes out of her shell.
Once she feels comfortable in her environment, Athena likes to play with toys and gallop around the house before retreating to a lap or her favourite lounge for a nap.
Athena responds to her name - running from wherever she is in the house, wagging her tail like a dog, and flopping on the floor to roll around on her back.
She is a bit clumsy and has trouble jumping and landing, so she requires a strictly indoor-only home for her safety.
Athena currently lives with two older cats and would adapt to a forever home with another friendly, gentle cat. She would suit a quiet, low-activity household for a single, old couple or small family with no children and no dogs.
She has a lot of love to give and craves constant interaction from patient, understanding humans.
Adoption details
Our adoption process starts with a phone call, an informal chat & organise a time for a home inspection - this is the best way to ensure a good human/cat match. The adoption application is then forwarded to the Foster carer who will call to arrange a meet & greet. All going well you may be able to take your new furbaby home that day.
