About Rupert
Adorable Rupert WILL steal your heart!
Rupert is one of those cats that you see at your friends place and just think wow, what a cool cat! He is every bit affectionate and always looking to cuddle up with you at any given moment, but he is equally as playful and adventurous. Actually, that’s a lie. He is absolutely more affectionate than playful, but he is still quite playful! Rupert has recently discovered how great it is to chase jingle balls down the long hallway and is slowly gaining more and more speed. We hear he is practicing for the Olympics, but between us, the only Olympic medal he would win would be the cuddly-couch-potato one. Rupert is excellent with kids and enjoys their company a lot. He doesn’t mind a cuddle, he doesn’t mind a play, and he doesn’t mind sneaking their crumbs they leave behind when his foster mum isn’t looking either.
The ideal home for Rupert would be one that is very family orientated. Whether you have a bigger family, or a couple, or live alone, Rupert just wants to be a part of your bubble and build a close bond with those around him. He has grown up living with other kittens, cats, a puppy, and a free range rabbit and gets along with all of them. He has also been living with 4 and 7 year old children and enjoys their company a lot. He is often found hanging around their bedrooms or out the back with them while they play.

Medical notes
Medical Note: Rupert was exposed to a widespread disease commonly known as Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus). He showed mild signs of illness, was treated, and recovered well. This virus is a common respiratory disease in cats and varies in severity. The virus usually attacks the respiratory tract (nasal passages and lungs), eyes, or both. Signs of illness may or may not develop again over time and veterinary treatment might be required. As usual, regular vaccinations are important to protect Rupert and other cats within the same living space should be up to date with vaccination.
