Hello all!
I'm Liberance, a gentle and thoughtful old soul.
I can be quite timid and quiet at first but once we get to know each other, I'm very affectionate and such a loyal and loving companion.
I'm also a fantastic conversationalist, and I'm even better at keeping secrets. Talk to me about everything! I want to know all the things and I will always be there to listen to you.
Aside from long talks, I also adore head scratches and cuddles. I'm super fluffy so I'm the best companion to have when it gets cold.
I will need to be the only cat in the house as I can get quite grumpy and stressed around other cats, but that just means that you get me all to yourself.
I will not be suited to a home with young children, but I would be fine with teenagers.
I'm searching for someone to spend quality time with me, and love me (almost) as much as I'll love them.

BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
